FINE ART
student's work

Throughout this 2 year course students will learn a variety of artistic skills and processes while developing critical thinking and an analytical understanding of other artists throughout history.  They will explore both traditional and contemporary modes of working and establish their own personal practice. 
Drawing is at the core of the course and students will learn a variety of methods and techniques, enabling them to see, understand and interpret the world around them in complex and sophisticated manner.  Students will also study various printing processes, painting, sculpture and digital arts in order to give them a broad knowledge and understanding of the art world today.
Students who study Fine Art at Tenison's benefit from trips to galleries, visits from artists and higher education lecturers and go on to study Foundation Diplomas and BA level degrees at UAL, UCL and more.
