YEAR 7

Skills Building/'This is Me':
During year 7 pupils engage in a wide range of creative activities in order to build the skills and confidence needed to develop their visual language.  This is achieved through exploring the formal elements, such as texture and colour, before drawing on their own lives to make meaningful art.
While there is an emphasis on observational and imaginative drawing, pupils will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of materials such as print, 3D card construction, ICT and even photography.
